GGF Cooking With My Daughter Logo

Hello and welcome to our recipes pages…

We are a mother and daughter who enjoy cooking together, so as we have unexpectedly found ourselves having more time to spend together, we decided to set up an Instagram page and create a ‘daughter’ blog to Gloriously Good Food, to share our joint cooking adventures.

Click on our logo to find out more about us from our Instagram page.

A little bit about us:

▪️Hannah is 21 years old, currently on a break from medical school

▪️Frederika – Hannah’s mamma – does lots of stuff to do with wellbeing, and when she’s not working, she loves to cook.

▪️ We love cooking together, but we didn’t get much time to do that before Hannah went to Uni (always studying!), but now she’s home for a while, we’re having fun in the kitchen 🙂

▪️ Hannah’s favourites are baking and pasta. Pasta & pizza (inc. focaccia) making, and creating delish pasta sauces, are Frederika’s favourites.

Look out for food inspiration, recipes and videos!

Buon appetito! 😋

Hannah's Breakfast Biscuits

Hannah’s Breakfast Biscuits

This is one of Hannah’s original recipes that we love to have on lazy weekend mornings while catching up on the previous evening’s TV together. Due to Hannah’s lack of appetite brought about by Long-Covid, she started experimenting to create nutritious and tasty meals that would have interesting and varied textures. The soft, gooey, squishy…

Chicken and Broccoli Pasta Bake cooked

Hannah’s Chicken and Broccoli Pasta Bake

This is one of the recipes that Hannah created at uni and has cooked for the whole family since. It is delicous, filling and quick and easy to make. This recipe is great for students as it is inexpensive and goes a long way so is perfect for batch cooking. Chicken and broccoli work very…

Finished Mini Cheesecakes Birdseye with Logo

Frederika’s Biscoff and Mini Eggs Mini Cheesecakes

This no-bake cheesecake recipe is one that Frederika came up with to make an Easter dessert and it was a bit of an experiment – thankfully it worked and was delicious! Brilliant for Easter, but Mini Eggs, of course, aren’t just for Easter and you can make this any time! The recipe makes roughly 4…

Pancetta pistachio cream pasta

Creamy pistachio and pancetta pasta

This delicious pasta dish was inspired by one of many mouth-watering meals we had in Sicily on a family holiday in 2016. Pistachios were found on just about everything (even spaghetti alle vongole!). This particular dish was really memorable – because it was simply heavenly, but also because of the location we ate it in……

Frederika’s Tartare de Boeuf au Couteau | Hand-Cut Steak Tartare

This dish is one of our favourites whenever we’re in France or Luxembourg and it’s far easier to re-create at home than you might think. The words ‘au couteau’ refer to the steak being hand-cut with a knife. The most important element is the quality of the meat. You need good quality, fresh, tender and…

Pncakes with Logo. Image shows two plates on a black worktop which each have 2 pancakes on covered in maple syrup. The left hand plate of pancakes has a few raspberries on top.

Hannah’s Banana Pancakes

These sweet breakfast pancakes are deliciously simple to make with just 3 ingredients. This recipe is also quick as the pancakes don’t take long. This is a favourite Sunday morning breakfast for Hannah, particularly with lots of maple syrup and some raspberries to finish off the pancakes – the tartness of the raspberries is the…
